Well, today was an interesting day. A friend of mine actually jinxed my day. This morning when I was getting ready to leave for my paper, I was talking to a friend of mine. While I was tieing my shoe, the shoelace broke. So, I told my friend about it and he replies saying "uh-oh, you gonna have a bad day then." I just dismissed it, and said nah, I got other shoes and an extra shoelace anyway. So anyway, later on around 8:20 or 8:30am as I was in line waiting for the light to change, and the person in front of me decides to back up cause they didn't want to turn after all, and I realize this and try real quick to go into reverse, and at same time I started to back up a little I was honking my horn. Anyway, I would say it was probably a good thing that I had backed up as much I could before they backed into me. Not really much damage was caused. The hood was bent up a bit, but not much, and the headlight got broke, but it still works. And the bumper has scratches on it, since it was a van with a high bumper so they went right above the bumper. Anyway, the guy pulled off the road and then I pulled in after him and we both got out, checked the damage. He apologized, and not wanting to get insurance into it since it wasn't much damage, he offered to pay for fixing it and such. So we switched information, I wrote his tag number down just in case he tries to stiff me. But I have his information and he has mine. Tomarrow I am to meet him at the place he knows that does body work, and we will see how much the damage will be. . All I can say, is at least the car wasn't damaged to bad to where it can't be driven. Now if the guy does decide to bail out, I will pay the damage. Doesn't seem that bad anyway so shouldn't cost to much. I have a friend who does body work for cars, so I can go to him if the other guy bails out, and see if I can get a good deal. I will of course keep you updated. Anyway, I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take any pictures of it, but I will go out there later on and take some pictures and upload them so you can see them. Anyway for now I am going.
