A Thousand Half Truths
How would you react if someone told you all of your dreams were true? What if that thing you saw in your head before you slept every night was something very much real and had come to find you? What if the figure that you've seen for years is not a ghost or an imaginary friend, but a god? What would you do?
What if the very person your close friend told you to listen to was nothing more than imaginary to you, but very much a deity in the eyes of others?
What if everything that ever went wrong with you, suddenly had an explanation?
For years, I chased the thought of the dead man from my dreams.
Bones in a cloak, with a voice of many lost. Blood colors the cloth. Obsidian skeleton walks into light But speaks not of the shadow behind
A robe made of the night sky His body strewn with gold and jewels A voice rarely heard But a sound you can not silence
Together they always appear Apart is their identity One tells jokes and comics The other shows the evil of the world
Two sides of the same coin Two souls I sought to be siblings But little did I know They were the same entity
