The Underground Archives Of Kyo
This is an archive of my experiences on Gaia Online, where I talk about friends, forums, RPs, stuff that happens in chat, et cetera. I try to update this often. (Key word is try. lol)
Fist Of The Lag Star
I talked to Jac over Skype, asking if he could play ZOMG with me. We could become part of the same clan, and do all our adventuring together. He agreed to it initially, but we've been putting it off an real-life stuff happens. That didn't stop me from playing ZOMG by myself though. I decided to do a few more missions, and discuss them here.

Commander Leon informed me that there are three gnome majors commanding the lawn gnomes. He thinks if we could defeat the majors, the gnomes would stop attacking. Leon says the majors hang out at the camps I scouted earlier. So I headed off to those camps.

Along the way, I shot at some enemies. I was surprised to see that they all survived my attacks. Every time I shot at them, the words "Invalid Target" appeared. I'd wait a few seconds, and THEN they would die. It seems the game was lagging, and now my gunshots had a delayed reaction.

It sorta reminded me of "Fist Of The North Star". When I made that connection, I began shooting enemies, and watching the bullets do nothing at first. Once I went, "You're already dead!", they would all fall to the ground at once. I dub my technique "Fist Of The Lag Star"... except I'm using a gun.

The majors looked like regular lawn gnomes, but they wore blue suits and yellow hats. I think their names were "Major Tragedy", "Major Disaster", and "Major Catastrophe". I was expecting them to be tough, but they were no match for my Fist Of The Lag Star. They were already dead.

I reported my conquest to Leon, and he congratulated me. He even gave me a new ring, the bandage. So with that, I decided to take a well-deserved hiatus.

A few days later, I decided to play ZOMG some more. Leon told me that a girl named Remo has some missions for me. He gave me some directions to Remo, and I found her. She told me that I need to take out the flamingos in the area. According to Remo, the flamingos are the gnomes' watch dogs. If one notices you, they'll alert all the other enemies in the area. Then they'll all attack you at once.

I shot a bunch of flamingos, and completed the mission with no problem. Unfortunately, the game wasn't lagging anymore. I couldn't pull off my badass Fist Of The Lag Star.

Remo's next mission for me was to bring her a bunch of mushroom heads. I could find them by destroying mushroom turrets. However, not all of them drop mushroom heads. It took me a while to get all those heads, but I did come back to Remo with success.

Now she has one last mission for me. She wants me to take out the gnome leader. Remo says the leader of the gnomes lives in the purple mushroom house. I saw it before when collecting mushroom heads, so getting there is no problem. But she warns me that the leader is super tough. I shouldn't face him without friends to back me up.

So I decided to leave for now. I told Remo I'd be back with some friends. Once I manage to get Jac to play with me, we'll take on that gnome leader together. But until then...

Be Right Back, World!
