Teenagers As Well As The Dangerous Duct Tape Challenge

There are numerous dangerous adolescent challenges that children strive for pleasure. The Kylie Jenner challenge prompted tween and teen girls to make their lips look larger. Result? Dangerous lip enhancements. The cinnamon challenge had kids swallow a spoonful of cinnamon without water. Result? Mass coughing and choking. The planking challenge had adolescents planking (laying flat across) in hazardous places like escalators.

Now there's a brand new one known as The Duct Tape Challenge. This challenge has kids duct taping themselves to seats, while someone else movies this stuck person trying to escape. Teens often do dumb things, and this new challenge is scaring parents and guards due to the dangerous results that it can have.

"A Washington mom is warning parents after a dangerous game called the duct tape challenge left her teen son seriously injured.

Skylar Fish, 14, is recuperating at Seattle Children's Hospital after the Jan. 16 injury, in which his friends wrapped him in duct tape, participating in a viral sensation in which individuals attempt to wrestle themselves free, regularly posting videos of the accomplishments on social media. Fish, whose arms and legs were bound while standing, fell and crashed onto concrete, causing bleeding in his brain and crushing his cheekbones and left eye socket."

So for Skylar, what started as a fun prank became a hospital visit with serious injuries.
