Give yourself rewards. If you are successful in staying on your diet it is good to reward yourself with a small dessert or glass of wine. This doesn't mean that you've fallen off your diet. This will simply be a treat to give yourself for sticking to your diet and staying on track with your goals. Of course this does not mean that you should give yourself a reward with each meal, only occasionally when you reach a goal. Your new diet is a part of your lifestyle, not just a punishment.
