	Dupont Nylon makes a very durable part, is available in sheet. Dupont Nylon is a polyamide, which is made in cast or extrusion grades. The cast version is Type 6 Nylon, while the more popular grade is extruded Nylon 6/6. The two types {are both very durable and can be machined with common tools. Nylon Sheet Dupont Nylon Rod and rod are used in numerous projects. The most abundant use of Nylon is the wear resistant grades of carpet.
