Then open up the "Manage User Scripts" Tab it will open the "Add-ons Manager" and then press "Options" Tab. I use FireFox and this is how I do it.
'Huffington Post', 'The Huffington Post', 'Salon', 'Salon.com', 'Vox', 'Vox.com', 'Bloomberg'
If you want to really clean up the feed paste this line instead. Carefully delete what is inside of the [ ] and copy paste this line
'Huffington Post', 'The Huffington Post', 'Salon', 'Salon.com', 'Vox', 'Vox.com'
close the box, it will ask to save it, do so. A window will pop up, at the bottom is a Tab that says "Edit this User script" press that Tab and another window will pop up, find the line (15) that says "var spamNames =". Once installed you will have to restart your browser.
I add "Bloomberg" as well because for all practical purposes their "news" falls into the same category. If you want to block "Bloomberg as well paste this line instead. First you need the "Greasemonkey" add-on then you need to go to this link
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/5384-p...
and install the script.
'Huffington Post', 'The Huffington Post', 'Salon', 'Salon.com', 'Vox', 'Vox.com', 'Bloomberg', 'The Atlantic', 'MSNBC', 'The Wrap', 'Los Angeles Times', 'Refinery29', 'MintPress News', 'ThinkProgress', 'Christian Science Monitor', 'The Hill'
Hope this helps someone.
