Pediatric Cancer Children's Book - Where's My Hair?
Saturday, Oct. 22: 3rd Annual Wag-n-Walk & 5k Run welcomes dog owners and their leashed pets. It takes place in downtown Dallas, starting at the First United Methodist Church at 8 a.m. Learn more by signing up and going to her site.

Here's a way to save money on your food budget and give back to the community at the same time: Taco Cabana has once again started selling their free taco coupons to diners who donate $1 or more to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Lauren's First and Goal Football Camp at Lafayette College Metzgar Athletic Complex, Sunday June 5th in Easton. One-day non-contact camp where participants receive instruction from college coaches. Registration is $30. All donations support pediatric cancer research.

For Ray, another guest, reading Alex's story drew him to his first Lemon Ball. "Before coming here, I checked it out on the website." He concluded, "It is a very heart wrenching story." It spurred him to do what he can to build on Alex's story.

Even during his four and a half years of treatment, Killian took the time to enjoy sports when he felt up to it. His courage and tenacity inspired one of his brothers' coaches to request that the team set aside any money raised for his end of season gift and donate it to CHOA. Though he received great medical care, Killian lost his battle with leukemia on July 27, 2003. He was nine years old.

On Sept. 8, the performance will be held at 3 p.m. at Westminster Canterbury on V.E.S. Road. On Sept. 12, come to Schewel Hall at Lynchburg College at 7 p.m. to enjoy the recital.

Columbia Olde Grey was established in 1972 and has competed nationally on the rugby field and been involved in its community ever since. Currently a Division II competitor on the field, the club is also very active supporting local charities. Last year, the team hosted events benefiting breast cancer research and pediatric cancer. They are also the reigning United Way Tug-A-Plane champions.

Runners will probably be started every 15 seconds to make the ascent. Church, with his hard rock/redneck country sound, is no doubt well on his way to bigger venues too. The Lemon Ball is a major contributor to ALSF charitable giving.
