North Carolina: sounds like Smoky Mountains National Park. Make your own shower with a large container of water left in the sun all day or a pot of water heated over your stove or campfire.
The National Park Service maintains developed campgrounds at 10 locations in the park:
o Abrams Creek
o Balsam Mountain
o Big Creek
o Cades Cove
o Cataloochee
o Cosby
o Deep Creek
o Elkmont
o Look Rock
o Smokemont
Each campground has restrooms with cold running water and flush toilets. Each individual campsite has a fire grate and picnic table. There are no showers or electrical or water hookups in the park. Shower facilities are available in the communities surrounding the national park.
