Hello, I'm an 18 yr old girl and I'm also a complete loner. I have zero close friends, merely people that say "hey" to me occasionally. After starting college, I started to care less and less what people thought and developed this laid back, chill attitude. I'm friendly, bubbly, adventurous and down to earth. A typical "blonde" personality if that makes sense and people tell me I'm absolutely beautiful often. However, I can't seem to bond/make a connection with anyone. I always spend my nights and weekends alone, listening to music or writing. I'm always alone and I'm comfortable being alone with myself...but I hate the feeling of being lonely. There's so many things and places I want to see and things I want to do, but it's not the same by yourself. You can't have fun, meaningless conversations with yourself, you can't say "wow, look at that" or "listen to this" to yourself. The thing is though, I try. I go out and mingle with people all the time, I go out to libraries, coffee shops, talk to everyone in class and everyone's nice but they don't want to hang out. I'm a deep thinker and love deep conversations. I don't like partying or getting trashed because I think it's pointless. I don't understand why I can't connect with anyone if I'm not socially awkward or unattractive. This feeling of loneliness is killing me inside, I just feel empty. I don't like living like this.
