Lindsay Lohan's Community Service Ordeal Not Completely Over Yet
Lindsay Lohan may have completed all 125 hours of community service, but the ordeal is not yet over. A judge still needs to sign off the hours, and it is possible that jail time could still be enforced. The hours logged and work completed will need to be checked, along with anything else that the Mean Girls actress was doing during the month.
During the middle of the month, Lohan had still failed to complete her community service order. The order stemmed from her reckless driving incident in 2012, for which she was required to complete 250 hours. However, a judge and the prosecution argued that it would have been impossible for her to have completed the hours she said she did in February this year. Some of the hours were while she was in the emergency room for the virus she got while in Bora Bora.
Lindsay Lohan was then ordered to complete an additional 125 hours by the end of this month. By the middle, she was only 10 hours into the log, blaming her three-hour round commute to the charity organization in London. The judge agreed to allow her to complete the rest in New York, where the commute time would be substantially lower. People magazine makes it clear that the 28-year-old completed 115 hours within 16 days.
It was certainly possible, as long as she was working full-time for the whole 16 days, but the logs will still need to be checked. According to The Daily Mail, full-time work is just what Lindsay did. She reportedly worked eight-hour days for two weeks, just to avoid jail time. It seems that some on the prosecution side are happy with the performance and agree that she did work solidly without taking any breaks.
This will be a monumental moment for Lindsay Lohan. In seven years, once this is over, it will be the first time she is not on probation. Now all she has to do is stay out of trouble. There does not seem to be any reason for a judge not to sign off Lindsay's paperwork.
The community service was carried out in a New York women's shelter and at Brooklyn's Duffield Children's Center.

There was the risk of jail time had Lindsay not completed the hours required. The prosecution felt that she was not treating the situation seriously enough. It looks like the threat was enough to get Lindsay Lohan to finally work hard, and she tweeted the moment that it was over.
