Chicago-based UPREIT Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) paid $130.275 million, or approximately $645,000 per unit, for the 202-unit 315 on A apartment complex in Boston.
The 21-story multifamily high-rise delivered in January 2014 at 315 on A St. in the Seaport District Multifamily submarket. The complex consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Simon Butler, Biria St. John and John McLaughlin of CBRE - New England represented the seller and property developer, Portland, OR-based Gerding Edlen, in the transaction.
