It seems Westcreek cannot get a break from crime these days, while the holidays seem to have brought more neighborhood wide complaints of criminals breaking into cars for holiday goodies, some people are getting hit by a roof repair scam.
According to a anonymous neighbor within the neighborhood, whose message was posted by HOW, a company posing as the Sunshine Company or Sunshine Roofing is cruising the neighbor hood attempting to scam people, and their insurers, out of money for fake hail damage.
According to the resident her neighbor was hit by the thieves as well, when the thieves got wind that victim had called Allstate to inspect, the thief claimed they needed to inspect the roof again. When Allstate inspected it there was no hail damage from the storm, but plenty of man maid damage. Allstate is allegedly pursuing a lawsuit against the thieves for fraud.
When the posters insurance company came to check the "roof damage" that the "Sunshine Company" claimed she had, they found nothing wrong with her roof.
If you live in the North West side of the city and are hit by these scam artists, tell your local law enforcement, and don't let them on your roof. They are alleged to be two men lead by a lady representative, and they claim they will check your roof for "hail damage" resulting from the freak hail storm a few months ago.
If you do suspect you have hail, storm, or other insurance covered damage to your roof, be sure to inform you're insurance company first, so they can send http://roofingrepairmelbourne.com.au/
