This was going to be a reply to r/AgainstGamerGate, but I have a thing about not replying to anyone past 12 am. So, here it is:
I'm gay, and I don't really want to comment on the censorship thing. It's simply censorship on a micro scale which garners a slippery slope set of arguments to insist that a macro level will inevitably come to fruition. I don't really care what Valve does, but when there's an actual threat of government/state police intervention, then I'll tell them to ******** off and leave the douche alone, although neither course of action really benefits me, anyway.

The thing that bothers me is still the whole, "I'm shocked by this", response from just about everyone, because, well, the only reason this is even remotely relevant is because it was on Precious Steam and not some freeware or other type of site in which there may likely be at least 5 more with this type of "setting". It's like, everyone could come to the conclusion that this "movement" has brought light to some satire gaem like "Social Justice Warriors", but only because mah precious, over-populated Steam Store, but no one ever cared about Liberal Crime Squad. Everyone cried when Hotline Miami 2 had a rape scene, but a fairly decent chunk of gaemz on the Japanese site dlsite.com is practically nothing but rape. I could give a nice list including Battle Slave Fantasia amongst others that I e-pirated without much care, but it's not culturally relevant for 'Murican media heads. You wanna talk about Hatred? What about Muslim Massacre and Super Columbine Massacre RPG? They were removed from where they were put up, too, but this society really is very touchy and only cares about what gets put on precious Steam, and the irony is that those gaemz were somewhat decently made compared to this so-called "social experiment" of "Kill the f*****t" which is a poorly done rail-shooter.

The worst part of this thing is how the gaem portrays this stereotypical view of gay men. Exactly, even in the midst of this, you probz can't shoot lesbians, because you can't really paint a stereotype of what a lesbo looks like enough for you to want to do anything but kill gay men, of course, in regards to piss-poor stereotypes of what a gay person dresses like. Oh, congrats, a man is wearing a pink shirt and a tie. That totally means he's gay and not a frat boy.

This type of thinking made me think of something a bit cynical to do in "kill the gays" territories like the Middle East. The entire presumption on where and how to "spot" gays is used on stereotypical conclusions, which means that kidnapping any anti-gay person, stripping him down and tossing on "gay clothes" and taping his mouth shut would probz get a nice beat-down by his own "kind" if you dropped him off somewhere and shouted, "I found one." Anyone wanna make a vidya gaem outta that type of scenario? I mean, he was just wearing a pink shirt and skinny jeans, not much other indicators were ever made. Yeah, I know, that female that looked and sounded like a male, which obvs means it was a trap, but no, she was actually born that way. I mean, female body builder = obvs lesbian, let's kill cuz "Outside of Gender Role = dyke-adelic". "tfw she's married and has 3 kids"

The finale then comes down to the alleged response from Le Author, "The reason behind this particular game is because of how tired I am of people being overly sensitive and how easily offended people are by every little thing, especially with LGBT issues." Of course, he claims he wasn't targeting gays, although in the list of things this country is "easily offended with", the obvs choice was to go with "especially gays". I could picture how easily offended everyone is and literally just point and laugh like "haha, look at you, you think you proved something." BRB, playing the MUGEN engine with Kuromaru and Assault Abe. *Imagines the butthurt when everyone looks up anything I'm talking about and becomes easily offended*

I swear peeps who follow mainstream gaming are pretty lost as to what the PC Mustard Race obtains on a daily basis in funky "exclusives" that I play. BlankBlood, Yakouga, Holdover, Nue's Operation Bigburn, Demonophobia, Vore Action RPG, Rapelay... anyone? Lawl.
