As Mr. Tolouse headed downstairs to go gather some supllies from the list Launde gave him, he walked and saw exactly how much the small mining town had changed.

Now every few few it seems a small open fisher had opened or a small pool had filled in a depression in the ground and made it a steaming bath, that looked so welcoming so relaxing even as he walked he accidentally stumbled and almost feel into one such pool, "Silly me, I should be more careful" he said to himself.

He got up and realized immediately he dropped the list, "Where in the _ _ _ _ did I drop that thing?" as he looked around he couldnt seem to find it anywhere, the more he looked the more frustrated he became thinking he had lost it and would have to go back to Launde and have her re-write it, but then..........

"There it is!" he though as he saw the list as it must have been picked up by the wind and blown into the bushes behind one of the buildings, stuck to a small branch within it, as he reach out to grab it, something grapsed his wrist and pulled him through the bush and out the other side knonking him on the head and knocking him out cold.

"Gooooooooood" as a Giant Man covered in hair and having claw like hands, through him over his shoulder and start to walk carefully so as not to be seen around the outskirts of town and to the East, "Teach, Sage Father I can be good, get rid of nasty humans" as the Giant Man/ Bear like man walked thumping along through the woods at a decent pace making good time as he strided out of sight.

Launde stayed in the Inn and waited for Mr. Tolouse to come back and ended up waiting and waiting, "What could be taking him so long?" as she worried more and more she knew somethig must be wrong and got up and headed down stairs and out to find out what had happened to Mr. Tolouse.

Launde started to ask, passerby if they had seen him, describing his clothes and his looks to them, but none seemed to have seen him or if they did only a short time ago but not recently.

As Launde grew more and more scared and worried she got frantic, till finally she got a break as a man who was making his way toward the upper part of town, told her "I saw that man behind the Forthright Building a block from here where they sell tools and wooden stakes for mining" as she told him he startd to walk behind the building and that was the last he had seen of him.

"Thank You" as she practically ran to the place to try and find Mr. Tolouse and what had happened and where he was, as she got to the building and looked up and down and around the building she finally spotted several footprints on the snow just far enough outside the heat of the springs to stay frozen, his footprints and then big clawed footprints.........."No...........Please No!"
