Wow.. what.. it's been 4 years lol. A LOT has changed. so.. lets do this old style
WORK
I have been working for Party City for the last 7 years and in that time I've learned one thing, don't talk to anyone about anything ESPECIALLY if you don't want other people to know because EVERYONE will know. I managed to get a managers position and then we switched our head manager and things got progressively terrible. She was a constant bully especially to me and finally I'd had enough and 2 years ago I stepped down as a manager and went to school.
In between the time that I started school and the time that graduated she actually decided to leave Party City and then was fired because she was deemed to be a detriment to the company. In the last year we've had 4 different general managers and it seems like no one can hack it. When I was finished with school and we got out last manager I went to him and told him directly that I wanted to be a manager again and he acknowledged it and went on about business.
Here we are.. months later.. and our executive manager who doesn't do anything is going on Maternity leave and he offered the job that I wanted to 2 other people temporarily. So.. what was I supposed to do? Middle finger up.. that's what. I filled out an application for Costco, got two interviews, got hired and gave my 2 weeks notice all within 4 days and I have honestly never been happier!
BOYS
They're trouble, I don't know what else to say really.. I was living with a guy and we had been dating for 2 years when he just up and moved out and moved in with his ex that he had a baby with and that was the end of it.
I've dated a couple people since then but most have wanted to be serious right away or have sex right away and really when I've told them no they've gotten upset and I'm just like " Uh.. it's my body just because were dating doesn't mean you get to stick your p***s in it."
There is a man however.. that I am in love with, have been in love with... for a very long time. All my life goals at the moment are to not only make myself happy.. but to get me where I want to go which is to him. Even if things didn't work out I honestly wouldn't complain cause I'd be much closer to someone who I consider to be one of my best friends.
LIFE
I am accomplishing so much and I'm so excited. I spent 2 years in a Pastry and Baking arts program and got my Certificate as well as my degree, first time ever graduating.. since I was a stupid teen and dropped out and got my GED instead. STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS!!!!.. if you're ******** smart and you do your godamn work you can go to running start classes at your college while you're in high school and the government has to pay for it.
Family
Because of everything that's happened in the past I'm living with my mom and good lord I am counting the days. I love her.. but when we're not getting along we might as well be two hyena's fighting over a corpse.
I have 2 nephews that I love to bits! One will be 2 in april and the other is just 2 months old, omg they're so cute. However I worry about the older one. He and my second cousin were born around the same time and he has no where near the vocabulary that my second cousin does. He mumbles constantly and rarely ever forms words, it makes me worried about how my brother and his gf are raising him. Whenever we have a gathering at my fathers there's a lot of "NO" going on.. and most of the time they're on their cell phones droned out and when it comes to diaper changing they argue over it it's kinda sad.
