This is the time on my stop watch today. Frozen until I next access it, wherein I will hopefully surpass it.

What's it been, two and a half weeks? Looks like I'm keeping RIGHT. ON. SCHEDULE.

For my expectations, anyway. It's been an interesting couple of weeks. I often thought about writing in here, even though I did nothing noteworthy with my diet or exercise, just to keep myself accountable and keep track of anything that might be of interest to me later. Alas.

A few days after my last entry, I actually became quite sick. I made the mistake of eating $10 of food from Whole Foods buffet line, which you wouldn't suspect to be filled with bacteria, given their reported high food standards, but it was filled with such bacteria on this day. I left class early to go home and rest, throw up three times, and struggle for the following three days to eat and control my body temperature. I only worked half a day the following day, and dragged myself to school the next. I felt exponentially better by the weekend, though the headache lingered throughout. So, needless to say, I "did well" on my diet for that week, in which I ate hardly at all, but I also neglected any form of exercise or stretching in the following days, until the morning that is this.

I have often traded the time for exercise for homework (though I continue to pussyfoot around it), telling myself that my education needed to be my number one priority. But today, I told myself that I need to make darn sure I got some cardio in. I have the weekends off until my store officially opens- that's a full 55 hours to split between sleep (~10-16 hours), homework, and fun. There is no reason I can't take ONE hour each day to improve myself. So, I spent about six minutes stretching my legs, aaand between 5-7 minutes jogging.

Have I mentioned how out of shape I am?

I started with a training regime recommended by a friend who is much healthier than I, wherein you jog for 2 minutes, walk for 1, jog 2, walk 1, rinse and repeat for 20 minutes. Do this for a week or two, then up it to jog 3 minutes, walk 2, and so on.

After two or so rounds, I was jogging 1 minute, walking 1, then after the aforementioned 10:00.32, I was just walking. Continued to walk for the next 45 or so minutes. As I rounded the corner to my house, I discovered that my poor Love had been calling me, panicked, because I forgot to leave a note when I left.

In my defense, I thought I was going to beat them home from church.

So now, I have showered, and am going to throw it all away on a breakfast of waffles and sausages, but I already feel better just for having exercised, and I plan to exercise more later with my Love, practicing some self defense, maybe doing some strength training. I will try to update tonight to confirm.

Sigh. My fitness level is not high, not at all, but I must be honest with myself in order to improve it. Now, off to better myself as an artist and student!
