Discover the latest laser treatments for veins in Miami

Vein treatment using laser which available in Coral Gables is divided into two groups:
1) Intravascular vein surgery. This has been a complete change in the treatment of leg swelling. Endovenous laser ablation is also called EVLA. It is a 60 minute procedure performed in the office using only local anesthesia. The physician places an IV in the vein which is not functioning properly. A small fiberoptic is inserted through the catheter and the vein is primarily cauterized from the inside out. Many patients return to normal activity the next day. The procedure itself is pain free in the right hands. You must have an accurate diagnosis beforehand so that you can be sure you're having the right vein treated! These lasers aren't effective on the legs, due to increased pressure in leg veins, than they do for facial vein treatment or nose vein treatment, where the blood pressure is lower.
