Made our budgets last night
For saving for our house.
If we follow these strictly, we can easily save over a grand a month to put towards the house!

We're going to start next month because Christmas is obviously quite expensive.
I still need to shop for Dad, Billy, and my grandparents.
Maybe I should get John's sister something too, since I got his mom a gift...

Other than that, everyone is done!

I think John is a little disgruntled by how much I make in comparison to him,
But I told him that I work 3 jobs, so I should be pulling in more money than the one he's working.
Also, he makes 15 an hour at his one job, my main job I make under 11.
So, its a little different.

He told me he wants to get a second job with benefits, which seems fair.
We're nowhere near at any point where we should be getting married, so it wouldn't be right to wait for that to get on my benefit package, y'know?

And I don't want to get married for tax breaks, benefits, etc.
I only want to get married because I'm in love with the person I'm marrying.

Simple as that.
