After I awaken, the first thing I actually do after I brush my teeth is switch on my computer and read the mail. And I Also guess so can you. In the middle of the morning I personally use a pc to do my job like the majority of office workers. And at night, after I finish my job, I use my computer to unwind: watch a new movie or play a game. This is how our everyday life go today.
Because we use computers so often, it would be boring, if they showed us the same screen all the time. That's why almost all operating systems allow changing the look of computer desktop. For instance, in Ms Windows, which is the most widely used operating-system in the world, you are able to change skins, color themes, and desktop wallpapers.
Desktop wallpaper is surely an image, that is being showed as background on Windows desktop. Windows has several nice built in background images that can be used. You can add your own wallpapers if they are not enough for you. But where can you have them from?
The simplest way of getting a wallpaper would be to download it from the web. There are a lot of sites where you can download wallpapers for free. There is a wide selection of designs, screen resolutions and image formats. Even when you have non-standard screen resolution, you will be able to find a suitable wallpaper without a problem.
If you don't like wallpapers made by others, you can make one yourself. It is easy. You don't need to be a specialist artist or designer to create a wallpaper. Everyone that has an electronic camera are capable of doing this; just make a nice photo that you will be thrilled to see and put it on your desktop.
I myself would rather download wallpapers from the Internet. We have found a cool girl wallpaper recently. I actually have seen a lot of other girl wallpapers, and every one of them were really nice.
