Fantastic Ideas for Activities that are Travelling
Questions: Others try to guess your word by asking questions. Take turns until everyone has tried their word. You could have playoffs involving the people until only one was left that stumped the lot.

Word Play: This one is really good for older kids that are learning how to read, write and spell. Any old word will do, the following individual then must take the final letter of the very first word and think up another word and so forth. So say individual one said "engine" person 2 would have to find a word beginning with the letter "e", let's say "elephant" next person in line would then need to get a word beginning with the letter "t", such as "toys". The victor is the last person to be able to think up a word.

I Went To Market: This can be another memory game that will be really popular with my kids. Next individual must say "I went to market and I purchased.... And..." This carries on until nobody can recall the list of things that got purchased at marketplace. Again, the last individual to consider the complete list is the victor.

Locate the Place: Create a map of where you stand going, but make it simple for the children to comprehend. Write down names of towns cities and hamlets that you will pass on the way to your own own destination. Give the children a pencil/marker so that they can check off each place as you reach it.

Automobile Colours: Give each child a pen and piece of paper and tell my kids to select a colour. From then on my kids need to mark down every time they view a car of the colour they've selected. The very first man to spot say 30 cars of their preferred colour, or 15 is the winner.

Alphabet Soup: That is a game where everybody takes it in lumen turns to come up with words beginning with the various letters of the alphabet. U x and Z are the hardest, so that it could be an idea to lose those letters. It is possible to make the game more difficult by choosing groupings for example areas, or famous people and even fruit and animals.

Personal Bags: Let each kid pack a little bag of the favourite toys and games to choose together. Create a rule that they are merely allowed to take one thing out and they can just play with it to get a particular period of time, based on the length of your journey. Additionally motivate the kids to swap their toys/games so they get a bit of variation in what they are doing, in the event the journey is a long one.

Travel Diary: This one is not extremely bad for longer journeys, especially when you stop off at various areas along the way. Each kid will need a notepad and pen. The older ones and the younger ones may have disposable cameras and art books and crayons, respectively. Let them document the trip by taking images (or drawing) and writing words about where they are, what they have seen and what they have done on the journey. Not only can this keep them occupied, but it's also going to give YOU something to read on reflect on in time for the following journey.
