I was born to a doting, skilled mother and a skilled father. I entered the academy early on, father had become a chunin at a young age as well (eight, he was six years younger than Naruto when he passed the Chunin exam, Naruto was 14 at the time he first took the exam). I had wanted to be skilled like my father so I always intentionally put myself in harms way to become stronger, and I still do. Mother always tells me not to go overboard, and she doesn't think all these bandages look good on 'such a pretty little girl.' I still put myself in life or death situations to become stronger even after graduating from the academy at seven and passing the chunin exam at nine. I was a year older than father had been when he passed, I wanted to surpass my father and be a greater asset to the village than him. Of course, my plans haven't been working out so well. I have to take it easy some days if my injuries were extreme because the medical corps would send a medical ninja to make sure I don't do anything foolish while recovering after that time I had almost fatal injuries and as soon as I woke up, I snuck away from the hospital and almost bled to death again because I was training to roughly. I had gotten in a fight with a wild cat that was a danger to the village, I had killed it, but almost killed myself as well. Now the medical ninja don't trust me to take care of myself... Not even Sakura who was a student of my father's. Off topic, but when I first became a chunin, mother had told me 'your so much like my mother. You have the same eyes and the same coldness to you that worries others.' It was the first time mother said anything about her own family besides her children and husband.
