In order to create homemade cosmetics you will need a number of special supplies and accessories which will make the process of making such cosmetics easier and more pleasant.

What should be used for measuring?

You will need beakers or graded cups with spouts made of glass. They are used to measure the exact liquid volume. It is very convenient to measure water, hydrosols or liquid vegetable oils for aqueous phase of cream in them. They can be of different volume.

Pasteur pipette is a very handy thing for measuring of oils and active ingredients. They are graded and have different capacities.

Where to store?
One of the most convenient things in which liquids can be stored is a flask. Flasks are used for storing of various chemicals. They have wide-neck and ground stopper without grading. They are often used by chemists, but we can use these flasks for various needs. We can store there massage oils, homemade herbal macerate.

Dark brown glass is perfect for protection of plant and essential oils from light because they are extremely sensitive to it. You can make different extracts and tinctures in them. Also it is nice way for storage of natural perfumes. Homemade cream can be perfectly stored in this flask, because it is very convenient to get a portion of it through the wide neck with the help of glass spatula. Just do not forget to stick a label with the name of the cream and the date of its preparation on the flask! We advise you to buy several flasks of different capacities in order not to return in the store again and again when it is needed.

Although cosmetics can make you look more attractive in a matter of few minutes, these chemical compounds can have more disadvantages than what you might have thought of. If you were to apply a lot of different creams and other forms of cosmetics, they may also pose a threat to your skin as a combination of various different cosmetics may not be good.
