Tanks and LAVs continued to form up on the beach. Kad could still not think of a more beautiful sight at the moment.
Turning his head away from the incoming support, the corporal focused his attention on covering Kierson. Kad's ears may not have been much use to him currently, but his eyes were still sharp as ever. An enemy head popped up over another trench, but ducked back down as the other Tyrfing member fired at him. Grinning, Kad readied his rifle towards that spot. "Come now, little gopher. I just want to play." The head popped back up, and Akula squeezed his trigger. The head went back down, not to come up again. A couple other Gaians in the trench saw what Akula was looking at and began to also provide suppressing fire.
