It can be hard to motivate your students to pay attention, work hard, and stay focused. One way to motivate your students is by giving them something to work towards. You can see a goal and have your students work towards a party. It can be a behavior goal, academic goal, or both. What is important is to make a goal that will take some work for your students to meet but is also achievable.

In order for your students to be motivated to work towards their goal, they need to be working towards something. Sit your students down ask them for ideas about what kind of party they want when they reach their goals. Allow and encourage your students to think big.
