To investigate the adaptability of α-actinin-3 levels in skeletal muscle, adult rats were tail-suspended for 30 days. Numerous studies have demonstrated that hindlimb unloading causes the transformation of JDTic fiber types from slow to fast, especially in muscles that work against gravity [13], [14], [15], [16] and [17].
