For a while I have been working on a game, a racing game to be more precise. A few know about it as I've told them. Lately I've been a bit lazy but I starting to get back into it. My 2 week break starts on September 22nd so I'll be able to get back to work on it.
Here's some stuff I've created with the help of some others.
Basic vehicle model, nothing impressive (really), I was more focused on getting the physics of the vehicle to work properly. This is also when I was messing around with textures as you can see the sign post with art of my friend and a paw print I created in GIMP.
Here's when I tried to make a frame for the kart....it sucks. LOL ...but I was more focused on creating the wheels and texturing them as you can see in the picture. I love bump maps.
Wheels I've created in 3DS Max. 1st Design: I hated it, it was horrible. I ended up not saving it and scratched it.
2nd Design: I was more comfortable with this design. These are the default wheels, I might end up re-texturing them though.
This is a paw model that I've created. There's still some stuff I'm not comfortable about it, such as the texturing. At first I was thinking about adding eyes as a separate primitive shape but then I realized that it would take a lot of polygon editing for different types of eyes, so I stuck to texturing the eyes onto the model. I call it the default cat base model. I had to make the eyes big so the head didn't look too weird. I found this some what fun to do, I still have to make the other base models which would most likely be a hassle. I still have to animate the model which shouldn't be too hard and some tweaking to the model and texture.
