So lately, I've been noticing that everyone kind of has a special person that helps them out, keeps their feet on the ground, walks the difficult path of life with them, and I kind of see those people as anchors. A person that keeps another person from floating too far off the grid, you know? So if you're reading this and you think of a certain person, they're probably your anchor. If you don't have one, that's okay, you'll probably get one at some point in life. Whether it'd a be a spouse, a best friend, a god, or just someone you confide in. Now if you don't really care to have an anchor or if you think you're your own anchor, much respect goes out to you. I personally don't feel that I have an anchor. After all this time, I've just had to handle things on my own. So maybe I am my own anchor. Still, sometimes I wish I did have someone that would keep me steady. There are people that would help me out if I asked but they aren't usually available because they have someone else they'd rather help. But that's okay. I've never heard of a sailor borrowing another sailor's anchor anyway. I mean, its not like having a best friend and then having other people call that same person their best friend as well. Its a little more of a one on one personal kind of thing. The only reason why I'd know is because I've seen it xD which is almost as good as experiencing it, right?
