You were always there even when not needed, You were always making plans while I charged in head on.These different zones were no match for our teamwork and speed. You would always bring me up when I was down always knew what to say. You cared for even the littlest things in life and helped me see why...

The zones are harder now and the enemies actually scare me. I keep falling and having to start over. I'm running out of lives and not even rings can fill this empty spot where you used to be. Not even Knuckles my best friend can cheer me up. I sit and stare at the clouds always thinking... Why did you sacrifice your life for me?

I finally get it, after so many years of you being gone the answer was right in front of me. All I have to do is never give up and keep running but not away from my past or my problems but in order to help others. Even after all we went through I still believe that somewhere up there your proud of who I am today. Thanks to you I meet new people and I see the world different. you taught me that theres good in this world and that even the tiniest of things can be a big deal.
