These were the times Violet always loved , the times she got to be free , the times when her mothers cut ties and allowed her to move with out mission and purpose , a time when she could get away from the city's and let the scents of the wild places replace the urban decay .

After her mother caught her in the pound and had a good laugh Violet was told to go on vacation , to leave school and work behind so the girl could recharge her batteries , so she went , left with out packing her suit case just changing and grabbing a shoulder bag and wallet .

three plane rides and a taxi ride later she was in the woods , the sidhe controlled land that had once been called Yellowstone . a place Humans no longer went out of fear of being turned into a frog . here she sat and closed her eyes listening to the sounds of the falls knowing she would be safe here ...
