Ours fingers intwined as a puzzle made of ribbon but our fears attempt to burn the pieces. Don't be so cold, your already as fragile as ice. Reaching out thinking I can bring us closer I am taken by the warmth and softness of us so close, I fall as well. Sitting upon the cold metal of that old teeter-totter of the playground we try to lift the each other up to the shiny, warm ray of light to hug lonely hearts but the boat had been drowning in the silence. Will we sink or swim?
- hopefully the reference of rocking and boats is noticed (I promise you I didn't hear a poorly made pirate joke in the making of this )
good luck ~
