My dad left to go to Illinois. He got a promotion for a job and he knew someone who works at that store. When I got home from meps on Thursday, I helped him pack then he left Friday afternoon once everything was packed. I tried to hold back tears but I cried before he left. He looked like he was going to cry too. When he left, I ran to my room and cried a lot. After a while, my aunt and uncle took me to Dairy Queen to get ice cream then we went home to watch Frozen. It put me in a better mood. I am going to stay with my aunt and uncle until I graduate. My dad, sister, and maybe her friend will come to my graduation then my dad will take me back to Illinois so I can be in Job Corp if I'm not able to pass meps before I graduate. I see my dad going to Illinois as a positive experience. It will help me learn how to be an adult since he cant catch me if I fall. I gotta learn to do things by myself. I look forward to this new journey.
