Well, after years of no longer going on here, I decided I wanted to just log in to make this entry.
This isn't really a paranormal entry as it seems to be completely explainable. I'm mainly posting this as even after everything I've seen so far, this is the most creepy and fearful experience I've had.
You never know true fear, until you experience sleep paralysis.
This is going to be real short and probably not as scary as I'm hyping it up to be, but you really have to have it happen to you to realize how much fear can set in.
Anyway, so It's just a normal night. It was like 2 or 1 in the morning and I finally decided that I had enough internet for the night and I'd do my body a favor and get some sleep. So I get into bed, fall asleep and bla bla bla. At about 3 or in the morning or so, I wake up as my eyes just quickly open wide. I don't know what's happening but I for some reason feel completely rushed, as if I'm panicking. I could only feel a rush of fear but I had no idea why. I start looking around the room when only then do I realize that I can't move, I can only look around as I move my eyes. I look up at the head of my bed, as I looked down I was in shock, there were about 4 shadowy figures standing next to my bed (One side of bed is against a wall) they were just standing there, I couldn't tell if they were looking at me or not, as they were just shadows. I realized that they were holding my legs down, I didn't know what to do but I tried to scream for help, but nothing in my body would work. My mouth wouldn't move, not even the slightest whisper would escape. I kept trying to move but nothing. I could feel the fear really sinking into my mind, I didn't know what was happening, I even thought I was going to die or something, or maybe I was already dead. I looked to the wall next to my bed and as I looked back, suddenly a new creature appeared amongst the shadows. It wasn't a shadow, it was a physical monster that scared me more than any of the dark figures. It looked kind of like Davy Jones from The Pirates of The Caribbean but so much worse. It just stood there, staring at me. I just stared back at him, still trying to scream out for help. Thinking perhaps my brother would hear me in the other room. Yet, still, no words or sounds would come out of my mouth. I just stared back at the wall and back at the figures and monster, switching between the two every 2 seconds.
I managed to close my eyes and just start thinking in my mind for them to go away. After a few seconds, I opened my eyes, and to my surprise, they were gone.
I lifted my body up and just sat there for a few minutes, still scared out of my mind at what had just happened. I tried to stay awake the rest of the night but I guess I fell asleep later that night.
It also turned out that this whole thing only happened in like a few minutes or even just like 1 or 2 minutes. It felt like an hour to me.
The scariest thing about it was the realism of the situation, the details of the monsters, the figures, they all just looked so real to me.. If I didn't later know about sleep paralysis, I would be probably be a crazy conspiracist/paranormal freak by now.
For those who don't know, sleep paralysis is basically when you wake up but you're not fully awake. Like your senses and stuff are good to go, so you can see and all, but your motor functions like moving your body is still asleep. Apparently, your brain freaks out and starts making up crazy and real creepy hallucinations in order to try and make sense of why you can't move.
So yeah, this was easily explainable but I wanted to put an entry as this was so far still the scariest thing to happen to me. Just how real it seemed, how I thought that it was the end for me.
