xxxxxName● Slean Hatach xxxxxGender● ♂ xxxxxHeight● 6' 2" xxxxxWeight● 172 lbs. xxxxxMask Fragment● A small fragment, starting from below his left eye and dropping down and curving to the edge of his mouth, making him appear to grin constantly. A noticeable "fang" can also be seen curving over his lip. xxxxxReiatsu Color● A very light, translucent purple. xxxxxAppearance● (Not started yet) xxxxxPersonality● (Not started yet) xxxxxBiography●Slean doesn't really remember the details of his life, but partially remembers his death, which is what turned him into a hollow in the first place. He remembers running to somewhere important, somewhere he had to be though the details were foggy to him. As he was running he tripped over something, consequently startling a snake as he landed and being bit by it. Without getting a good look at the snake, Slean believed that the poison had worked quickly, and welcomed death calmly. After becoming a spirit however, he found the snake curled up near his body... a non-venomous milk snake. Enraged with what he considered an unfair death, he soon became a Demi-Hollow. (Not finished)
xxxxxSquad● (None as of yet) xxxxxRank● Soldier xxxxxSquad Ability● (None as of yet)
xxxxxZanpakutou Name●Sahneran xxxxxSealed Appearance●The zanpakutou is half the length of most others and bears a reverse blade.
Pre Release_______________________________ xxxxxState●Stand Alone xxxxxRelease Phrase● S~ahneran? (He normally pulls the S, and usually says the name as if in a question. Though he can release it by just saying the name, he rarely does so) xxxxxPhysical Change● His zanpakuto changes very little. The guard seems to drop off, disintegrating before hitting the ground. xxxxxInstant Effect● Though nothing flashy actually happens, Slean can instantly use his ability within the same post that it is released. The ability acts as it would normally, with no improvement or degradation. xxxxxPre Release Power● Snap A three part, extremely fast, unblockable punch or open palm hit in which Slean can bend his body any which way to strike an opponent, then rebuild any broken bones from that specific attack. The entire attack happens in one post, unless the opponent knows Sonido or an equivalent to that. If the opponent knows Sonido or an equivalent, then they will be able to do a "snap post" meaning they can dodge the attack completely, or begin another action before it hits. If the attack does hit, it deals an alarming 1 damage (Not to be confused with 1% damage) with the kinetic force of someone giving you a rough pat on the shoulder! As if that were not enough, he immediately begins his regeneration process. The regeneration (which completes the next post without him taking any aggressive or evasive movements) not only repairs and snaps the bones back in place, but replaces any that happen to be missing as well.
How the ability works (The three steps)
Step 1: When the ability is activated, a sharp crack can be heard an eighth of a second before the actual movement. This is actually the sound of the bones in his spinal cord loosening, to allow Slean free movement of his body. Using an extremely small amount of energy (roughly 2%) he can twist his body at around Sonido speed, almost always connecting with the target. Though the ability can be activated while he is moving, Slean rarely does so until the opponent is in point-blank, striking range. This is likely due to the fact that one additional step forward is all he can take before his decoupled spine loses the ability to support his upper body.
Step 2: Two things happen when the attack connects. First, the kinetic force of what would be a bone shattering blow is reduced to something akin to a rough pat on the shoulder, due to the degrading hierro that visibly cracks when the attack hits. Second, Slean uses exactly one percent (1%) of his energy to pierce through pretty much any defense. This, in turn, hurts the victim an incredible 1 damage (Not to be confused with 1% damage, which could equal 2 damage if the target had 200 health) no matter his rank. On a side note, Slean's hierro is actually completely broken, right after the strike, leaving whatever arm that hit the opponent unarmored.
Step 3: What most people consider the most impressive part of his ability, Slean begins the regenerating process. Any broken or displaced bones are repaired and pulled back into their original places. Any physical wounds that were sustained due to the attack are also regenerated. The regenerating process takes only two posts, with one being the post he attacks in.
(Simple use) First Post (If the opponent does not know Sonido equivalent or higher) If the opponent is in striking range, all three steps activate seemingly simultaneously. If the opponent does not know Sonido or an equivalent to it, the ability will auto-hit, dealing the massive of 1 damage to the opponent. (Do not confuse this with 1%, as it would equal 2 damage if the opponent had 200 health, effectively doubling this already massive number of 1!) With his hand resting on the spot hit, he will begin the regenerating process. At this time, it will change to the opponents turn.
First post (If the opponent does know Sonido equivalent or higher) If the opponent is in striking range, all three steps activate seemingly simultaneously. The post will stop, with Slean beginning his attack. This post will be short, and should be added to my next post.
Opponent's "Snap" Post (Sonido equivalent+ only) The opponent may only react by dodging the attack, or beginning an action right before they are hit. This is likely to be one sentence, so it should be added to the other RPer's next post as well.
Continuation of the first post (If the opponent does know Sonido equivalent or higher) The attack will hit or miss depending on what the opponent does, with the effects staying generally the same.
Opponent's Post (Both) Though I expect the opponent to be in awe of this tremendous power, I suppose they are free to do what they wish to Slean. If the opponent was doing an action right before he was hit, he may continue the action or even change it to something else. Slean will be unable to dodge any attacks in any way, shape, or form unless the opponent purposely misses him.
Post 2 (Both) The regeneration will complete with Slean standing up as his bones snap back into position. Every bone in his body will be repaired and replaced, even if they were somehow removed during the opponents post. Flesh wounds inflicted by the opponent will remain however. During this post, Slean may draw his weapon (If he hasn't already drawn it), pick up his weapon, and turn to face the opponent, but may not make any aggressive action towards them. (Except a few words if he is so inclined)
Two things to note. First, Slean is unable to use his zanpakutou when using this ability. In fact, he is unable to hold anything due to the sheer speed of the attack. If he is holding something, the ability will backfire, and need medical attention from a squad 4 member to save the arm that held the object. Second, it does seem to have an instant kill effect on simple, undeveloped hollows. Exactly how is a not known, though it's possible that Slean's reiatsu is lethal to them. Of course, the limitations of the ability mean he can only kill one every two posts. Even so, it's worth noting.
