Go, suck a d**k. Seriously.
I haven't been this mad in months.
I brought up three misgraded questions to my professor, worth two points total, and he said they're only worth two points; did you read the grading policy, you can only get regrades if they're worth three or more points.
So I said sorry. And I went on with my day. And it still struck me as incredibly unfair. Because he did not address whether I was right or wrong, he just said I was wasting everybody's time and I should go away. Besides, why should there be a 3 point cap when anything greater than 1 point could tip your final grade by half a letter grade?
AND IF THE GRADER GRADED WRONG, WHY SHOULD I BE PUNISHED FOR IT?
So I sent him an email asking for an explanation.
He has not responded. I'm not letting this go. It's simply and stupidly unfair. He knows he's wrong.
I was trying to cross the road, New York style, when the crossing guard came up to me and was like, "Young man! Get out of the road! Go stand on the sidewalk with everybody else! You're gonna get hit and cause me more trouble! Get out of the road!"
I mean, nice sentiment, but no need to be a b***h about it.
So I smiled and said, "Sure," and then the light changed so I finished crossing the street.
I think there's probably a downside to being outwardly a calm and happy person and inwardly so full of carefully repressed rage.
