By tooth , claw , and scent that is how you hunt my daughter , never on two legs never with metal or for fun , those words ran through Lily's head as she cleaned the pistol loading the ammo into the clip she kept her breathing even so not to wake her mate , the beautiful woman who she had established a mating bond with all those years ago . "Kat..." she shook her head wanting nothing more than to lay back down and snuggle into the warmth of her love but her mistress had been killed , Rose had taken a bullet meant for Mina and now Lily had to take revenge on the pack who had placed the hit , the pack who had sold her to the vampire in the first place .
