The research topic that the Nursing Fundamentals research paper will discuss is on Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. This topic was selected because not many people know about it. This disease occurs on the affected individual's skin and sometimes inner membranes (e.g. nasal cavities). Many have noted that prescription drugs are a culprit that trigger Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. Individuals from different ages, genders, and backgrounds are susceptible to this crippling and sometimes fatal disease.
