So I was just wondering, a step back from Mr. Flippy hair and tiny eyebrows with the chin and the inexplicable need to flail at odd moments.
Just what was so hilarious about the comedian that I simply couldn't stop watching out of fascination.
Well, in the memory, from the sonic screwdriver to the grandfather glasses magnifying that googly-eyed expression of intermittent mouth-breathing stupidity, let alone the mad-man hair with the tendency to stand up on end.
See, I'm laughing and deriding condescendingly, determined to memorize at least one episode for future encounters wherein sympathizing with such rabid fans I might encounter would seem obligatory.
But, upon quizzical reflection, and close encounters with a puppy that every time he sees his tail, he must bite it...but only once.
I realized what I took from this, was a sudden exclamation of "It's because I'm white, isn't it?"
And the perfectly timed (#comedian) rebuttal of potential dislike with an unintentional slant on racism.....for the love of the saints, I nearly died of silent laughter.
I remember mad-laughing at that scene, but I was so impressed with precise humor I forgot why the hell I'd fall for that silliness.
Concise, pre-cognitive timing, as would befit mad ninja skills by way of unpredictable reflexive compulsions........my mom's a sucker for blue eyes, I'm a sucker for sheer brilliance
edit: Also the implication about being high. That was weird.
