Yes - 5
Okay, so Yes formed in 1968 by the combination of Peter Banks and Chris Squire. They had been in a band called The Syn. When that sort of fizzled out, Jon Anderson, previously of the Warriors joined them, they changed the name to Mabel Greer's Toyshop, and then eventually Peter came up with Yes. The name was chosen because it'd be easy to remember. They found Tony Kaye for the keyboards and Bill Bruford for the drums and then got to work on an album. The album, titled Yes, with Peter's cool logo, was released in 1969. And it is a very awesome album. A good portion of the songs are cover songs, but they have some of their own material included as well. "Beyond and Before" is especially good.

The amazing Chris Squire.

Early Yes - 1969ish. Jon is trying to look tall. XD

Very true statement. No one else can pull it off!

My favorite quote from Chris? - "A nightmare is two bass players on stage"

Okay, enough of Chris. Here's a wonderful photo of Steve Howe. (Curse the damn watermark!)

The Caped Crusader himself - Rick Wakeman.

Working on Fragile. And Bill has no shirt on. Is it leftover from the "No Opportunity" video where Tony and Chris and pulled his shirt off and threw it out of the moving car? And that happened to be his only shirt? He lost a shoe that day, too.

Tormato time!

Don't listen to anyone, Steve. That is a great shirt! What I think would be fun is to write on all the CDs and you'd have people staring at your shirt all day - "What CD is that? What CD is that?"

Bill, probably listening to the guys arguing.

More Chris for ya.

Rick's new nickname is Capey! You know, he has a very Monty Python accent. When he was talking in the "Going for the One" sessions, all I could hear was Graham Chapman in the "Holy Grail".

In the studio.

Hanging out by a bunch of fountains. Very elegant.

Oh no, Chris's non-smiling thing is rubbing off on Steve! xD
