*SLIGHT SPOILER WARNING*
What I thought of this movie... well first off it was frigging awesome!
Despite being a little disappointed with the beorn scene I still liked him. He just didn't seem like the Beorn I've been hearing about. Like there weren't alot of animals despite him loving them and he didn't call Bilbo 'little bunny'. He was tall but he didn't have this long beard and I never imagined him with that hairstyle. He just seems so modern like how they change peoples characters nowadays and that is kinda annoying.
They also had the dwarves just break into his home(they were supposed to walk up to his home in pairs. And they made Beorn out to be this wild bear/man. Like I've heard he could control it since he is a shapeshifter. I just don't remember it being that way in the book. They also said that he was the last one and I could have sworn there were others but idk. I'll go re-read that section of the story sometime.
Lets see what else...I also didn't really like the Thranduil scene. He just seemed different than what I imagined too. I was also hoping they would actually show how they were traveling through the forrest and found the elven camp.picnic sights and thats how the elves captured them. But they had to integrate Tauriel and Legolas in there some how.
I also can't stand how Thorin just left Kili behind(his brother said he was staying too) and also Bofur and Oin. Just wth. Thank goodness that Tauriel helped him.
Other than those scenes it seemed pretty great. Legolas was his normal showoff-y self and the fight scenes were awesome. I also really liked getting to see Bard and his family. He was one of the 3 reasons I was looking forward to watching Dos. The other 2 are Beorn and the Tauriel/Kili romance.
I haven't been that excited to see a elven romance since Arwen and Aragorn.^^
So thats about it.
I suggest you go see it since its so awesome.
