My love, you are damned, you are suffering.
You jumped off the clutches of the good god.
Right now, you are in hell.
Though you took it upon yourself
not to have me go with you,
you pulled me into hell nonetheless.
I might as well have gone to hell with you
so as not to lose you.
I too am suffering,
have you ever thought of that?
With every agonizing strike that land on your skin,
my heart takes tenfold the pain.
The smile that you feign to make despite
the blood gushing out of you
equals a thousand spears through me.
I want to be with you,
even in your suffering.
Hand in hand, our love shall numb
all the pain of the brutal lashing.
Half of your leg was torn from you,
and most of your dear fingers.
But do you know what has been taken from me?
I am missing half of my whole being,
if not more than that.
You know you hold half of me
as well as my heart.
In going to hell for all your sins,
you have taken from me
more than I ever thought you possess.
Even if you are not to come back whole,
I still want you back.
With all my love, my heart
and half of my being, that is.
How many tears would it take
to earn your salvation?
How many wails, how many sobs
to stand for your ransom?
I shall provide it all myself.
When shall my despair and sorrow
be enough to bail you out of pain?
for no heaven or hell knows how much I suffer.
How much we suffer.
We are two,
but one in pain together.
Will my tears keep you from bleeding?
Will it wipe away your suffering?
Answer me and stop smiling.
Let me drink the blood trickling from your mouth.
Let me kiss your bruises and lick your wounds
and cry over your body.
My love, come back and take your place with me.
Gently, let me pry your wrists and ankles
from the chains that bind them.
Tenderly, let me lift you into my arms.
Lovingly, I shall take you away.
Home is where we have each other.
Salvation or not, let me lead the way.
Whether we bathe in blood or tears, so long as we are together
would be more than conquering heaven and hell
or living forever.
