I didn't ask for or get anything major this time...but my gifts are very nice.
Actually, yes, I did.
Money for new trash cans that roll
new zip drive
new sauce pan
Cash to get Frozen on DVD and stampy fun stuff
also anything related to Smaug the Dragon.
We're also sending him a catalog with the furniture that would actually be useful to me. so he'll be able to actually see what he's paying for.
But no. He just gives me what he wants not really caring what I actually need/asked for--unless, of course, it's something amazingly huge that mom could never buy me, like a trip to France. and that's just to put him on a pedestal.
I mean, what I got from him is great. I'm not ungrateful, but if he asks for a list, then...pay attention to it please.
I was excited that I got mom a snow globe of a snow woman gardening... it plays Let It Snow.
Judy liked her necklace.
And I need to go to somewhere and get Bob a $30 or $40 gift card.
Along with Judy came presents! She got me stamps, of course.
I got a cute little derby hat and $350. Ok. Now.. Buckle down here, Sarah. What is a necessity??
I got an adorable wooden spoon. I'm just gonna assume that it's for my long forgotten spoon collection.
I got some photos we took on our beach trip from Tina. When she feels like it, she can really make things beautiful.
I got a book+journal set called "The Artist's Way:A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity". Mom got one for each of the daughters. She just loves it and can't stop raving about it.
And I got six little boxes of Twinings Tea.
Those are all the things of note witch is actually a lot, now that I look over my list.
Mom also got me cute little owl salt and pepper shakers!! They're adorable.
Bob got us a giant outdoor trashcan. Wahoo! our old ones are nothing more then crap.
Ok Sarah. enough of what you got. No, they don't care about the popcorn basket--There's a shop around here called Pop Around the Clock that sells specialty popcorn. Cherry Chocolate Bliss and White Chocolate Strawberry are two of the flavors. This basket has ten of the little sample bags. And the basket's really cute. I think I'll try to use if for a cat bed and see if they like it.
Are you done yet?
I've started my Italian program again. I have no one to practice with, so a lot of it is just gone now. I deleted myself from the program and am doing it all over again.
Alright. Well I've decided on what are hopefully achievable goals for the year...that is if I actually get off my butt and do it.
--Get a dent in that autobiography I've been going on about.
--Less Gaia.....that's gonna be tough...
--Loose weight?? I look fine now, but I can look better.
--TEACH STANLEY SOME DAMN MANNERS!!!!--that one is going to take pretty much all my focus. Oh boy, I have no idea how to go about training a Jack Russel. It'll be an adventure.
I hate Thank You cards. Nah. No, I don't. The only thing I hate about them is the starting process. After that, I get all into it and it can last for hours.
Stamps and stickers are AWWWWESOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!!! You should totally try it.
Here's some photos for you of our christmas.
We made a s**t ton of cookies. These were the best decorated.
Judy's on top, mine on bottom.
Judy doin some mixin...
And here's just some pretty ones. Forgive me, I'm a photo nut.
I try to use lots of angles...
