Another one: making claim to distinction or importance, esp undeservedly.
Sounds... like everyone on the planet. Of course, the method which one 'deserves' this praise seems to be that this works in a class-war structure. Tis very subjective.
Person A is unemployed; therefore, disregard everything they say, even if they agree with you. Everything Person A says, immediately switch to the polar opposite opinion and say, "I don't want to be like them."
Person B makes $8 an hour and flips burgers at McDonald's. Take this person's opinion over Person A.
Person C makes $12 an hour and is a carpenter. Take this person's opinion over Person B. If Person B agrees with you on something, immediately change your opinion in regards to Person C.
Person D makes $30 an hour and is an employer. Take this person's opinion over Person C. If Person C agrees with you on something, immediately change your opinion in regards to Person D.
Person E is the President. Take this person's opinion over Person D. If Person D agrees with you on something, immediately change your opinion in regards to Person E.
Bonus Round: Person F is God. Disregard everyone else.
If this is the demonstration you were looking for, then by all means, enjoy. Ye be basing this on 'importance', eh? Terribly sorry; I'm not doing that, and I be far more-more 'important' than everyone here; nyuck nyuck nyuck.
