In a time of great darkness,
Four great weapons were put onto the earth to choose their heroes and save humanity from "The Shade"
"The Forge of Fate," a weapon capable of changing to the form of any spear, axe, or sword
"The Trident of Tides," could change from trident to spear
"The Hallowed Hammer," Could be a hammer, heavy axe, Buster sword, or Mace
and " Ever Reaching Justice." A bow or staff of unmatched beauty.
Each were attached to a set of elements.
Forge was given fire and lightning.
The Trident would control water and ice,
The hammer stone and wood,
And last, the Ever Reaching Justice was given the air and light.
The four weapons soon found heroes of unrivaled skill.
"The Trident of Tides" chose a Privateer, a skillful lock pick and great man of the seas.
"The Hallowed Hammer" Choose a humble farm hand. His gentle hand and calm mind were only matched by his might.
"Ever Reaching Justice" Choose a monk, pure of heart and quick of wit.
The Forge of Fate" took the longest to choose. It finally took a soldier. His skill and wrath were feared alike, but he had another trait. He was honorable and loyal to the end and capable of inspiring courage in even the most out matched and terrified groups.
Soon, the Four took a name, "The Children of Fate." The heroes would seemingly wage war against "The Shade" until they would push "The Shade" back into their realm and imprison them in Ket-Pars, a land of eternal darkness.
