How long has it been... Ten months?
I have been away for far too long. Between work and the cases with Sherlock, it has been enough to keep me from contacting with our fascinated public. Unfortunately, there just has not been as many cases as there used to be. So Sherlock has been... earning his keep in a new way.
Not that it is horrible, it's just... different? I shouldn't be so mysterious. Considering his genius, it should not be surprising to see him as a tutor. Although not improving in his patience, it is not like he completely ignores children. From what I have seen, it is far more along the lines of stubborn consistency of rules.
It's kind of adorable.
Pfft... Do NOT quote that to him. Bad enough that I'm admitting it to you.
In other news, I have been running around from one office to another. I might as well be running a marathon around the Thames. At least I could get back into shape faster. I am trying to join another practice, but have to wait just a few more weeks. Till then, I will have to be satisfied with completing the paperwork that is still all over my desk.
My office is beginning to look like Sherlock's, except his mess actually has some system. My papers have not begun to gather dust yet, so I can't use that system yet. I am looking forward from pediatrics to general practitioner. As much as I enjoy kids, I think my head would explode if I had to handle them any longer. I literally had to grab a phone from a girl who was waving it in front of her brother in the med room. Is there such a a thing as books any more? The bright spot of the day is when the few charming kids actually engage in conversation with me. One in particular reminds me of Harry, energetic, charming, and pushy beyond belief.
That reminds me, I need to see Harry at some point.
