Days of my life
Anything I find interesting to write about so that I may grow.
When the wind blows out through the door
"When the wind blows out through the door, many wish that there would be a door stop..." -- Mentor

The concept of death happening at any moment is frightening to say the least. Today is a sad, dreary, grey day. My mentor lost a friend....one who lived with free will and acted upon it. He was supposed to survive...but one little detail caused him to go back upstairs to the gates. What is it about human nature that causes such grief to be evident? Humankind can withstand blows to the body, exercise sheer strength with no fatigue....but when death walks by and does roll call, it shatters us to no end. My mentor is one who is quiet and shows little emotion. Some call him cold....I call him resilient. He has suffered many times throughout his journey. Am I to see the same scene replay in front of me on my journey? I can only wait and see.....

Quote of the evening...
"Never let despair take hold of your mind....your heart is already home to it." - Mason, mentor of my mentor.
