OctoCamo's Diary
I write here what I please and act like someone cares.
Negotiations at my workplace has ended. A lot of people will be booted, though it will be business as usual for quite a while still. First people start leaving in May. We had a small 1½ day strike week ago. Other than that there hasn't been anything special going on. It's been a year since I started at the place as an internet.

Finally got around beating Grand Theft Auto V. I don't understand why anyone would choose ending A or B...

Samus Aran figurine that I pre-ordered back in May finally arrived. I expected it to be bit bigger.

I finally got the Ace Attorneys that I didn't have my own copy of. Justice for All and Apollo Justice I've had for a long time. Also bought Dual Destinies. Trial of second case just started. I'm liking it so far.

I had pre-ordered Dragon Crown. The artbook is really neat.
One of the big Finnish game magazines gave it really high rating.

Found Bioshock Infinite and Star Wars The Force Unleashed II for a good price.
Looking forward to playing Infinite after I've gotten some other games out of the way.

After three generations of disappointment, I was really happy with this one.
Really like the music too, like Boutique Theme, Champion Theme, Flare Boss and what might be my favorite in the series Sycamore\'s Theme. They announced that soundtrack will hit iTunes this year. I might pick it up.
Also liked new Pokemon, I mean, C'mon. Pancham? Hawlucha?

I always felt like I didn't have enough Canada themed stuff, especially not for my handhelds, so I decided to get this kit. The real reason why I bought this was the game case. It's exactly what I have been looking for.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan or at least used to be. Haven't watched them or given them much though in quite a while now. Never owned most of them. I had recorded A New Hope before all the changes on VHS, my brother's legit Episode II and estonian pirate of Episode III. Couldn't resist getting Complete Saga on Blu-Ray. Found it 30 - 40 € cheaper from UK than it would've costed in here. All 6 movies on Blu-Ray + three discs of bonuses, one of which is filled with documentaries and 90 minutes of spoofs.

I wasn't a huge fan of the show when I watched it for the first time, but I did like the style a lot.
And after watching some clips on Youtube, I feel like I might like it better this time around.
I don't quite understand the point of Blu-Ray + DVD combos like this.

Completed my Cowboy Bebop collection with Box #2 and movie.
Second blu-ray set also came with small artbooklet, this time for vehicles.

I can't believe it has already / only been 10 years since first volume of Dragonball was released here.
To celebrate, they re-released the first book with spine artwork posters. My original is so beaten up after going pretty much everywhere with me for years and my other vol. 1 is UK release, so I figured why not?

Also not having N7 shirts has been killing me for years, so I finally decided to fix that and get the hoodie.

The big purchase of the month was 5th generation iPod Touch.
I'm really happy with it, though I kind of wish that I had twice as much money and that iPhones came with 64GBs so I could've gotten proper iPhone 5 instead and have the "full package" and so I wouldn't be dependant on wifi for online features. Default music player isn't excellent, but I've found alternatives that I like. Watching youtube, netflix or using browser works really well and they work even in low signal places where my Nokia or 3DS would've given up on even trying to use wifi. I also found comic app that I really like. I've bought digital copies of couple The Walking Deads and Fables books.

Also, I finally have a decent camera that I have on me at all times.
All the pictures here (except for the N7 hoodie and iPod pictures) were taken with my iPod.
