Journal of an Astral Travelling Starship Trooper
Rambling about stuff that may or may not interest you... Fangirling about musicians that may or may not interest you... Random stuff... Yeah, that's about it... There's a Sci-Fi story buried in here somewhere...
Why I love Cheap Trick - 3
What's not to love about them? Seriously. They wrote some of the greatest songs ever, songs you still hear everywhere: "Surrender", "I Want You to Want Me", "The Flame" etc. They're timeless. I am still in shock that they are *not* in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yet. Pisses me off, really. Why don't we just take ABBA, Madonna, Donna Summer, Public Enemy, and anyone else who doesn't deserve to be in the ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame and replace them with Deep Purple, Yes, Kiss, and Cheap Trick. That would be wonderful. And Cheap Trick getting into the Hall might actually make some kind of reunion with Bun E. Carlos happen. They just need to put aside their differences and get over this whole lawsuit he's starting against them. Anyway...

Playlist -

"All We Need is a Dream" (1988)
"If You Need Me" (1990)
"How About You" (1985)
"Sorry Boy" (2003)
"These Days" (2009)

Okay, here's where I get obsessive over the greatest bass player ever, and inventor of the 12 string bass, TOM PETERSSON. You will notice this man has the best smile in the universe. I have never looked at a picture of him smiling without smiling myself.

I mean, come on, how do you *not* smile at his smile?

All hands on Robin! XD

An alternative "Dream Police" picture. Pretty cool.

They take the best group photos.

Ann and Nancy Wilson (Heart) and Rick Nielsen in the late 70s, early 80s.

The guys with Andy Warhol, and Tom is shirtless...

This was taken in August of this year...okay, well, the date's on it...
