Legend of Jack O Lantern
Seems there was an evil man named Jack who died as must we all so he went up to Heaven where he was turned away for his evil doings on Earth while he was living. So he went down to Hell where Lucifer refused him entrance for the same reason. Someone took pity on him while he was wandering between H&H and gave him a candle inside a hollowed out turnip and he became Jack O' Lantern and he wanders for all eternity.
