Any way, Thursday was alright. Winston and I waited in line for maybe 1 1/2 hours, compared to waiting 3+hrs on Fridays. I didn't see many friends, but I got lots of tags on my 3DS. >w< Oh, and it was rainy that day, so I couldn't wear my puppy slippers for my costume. ToT Although, Sunday I ended up getting them soaked, any way. xD I also finally finished the top portion of my scythe this day. Just in time!!
Friday was kind of hectic. Winston and Kalie weren't sure they'd make it to the con, so I ended up leaving with Lynzy instead around 2pm. We got there around 3pm and neither Winston nor Jeremiah had arrived to check into the hotel rooms. So, we had no where to put our stuff! So we tried to buy some time by going to McDonalds and had some nummy ice cream! Eventually we had to head back to the hotel though, since my photoshoot was at 4pm.
I feel bad cuz I had to leave Lynzy all alone with our s**t tons of baggage and props while I went to the shoot. Winston was suppose to be at the shoot, but nooo. He had to get stuck in Ft. Collins cuz of the floooods. Screw you, Colorado! I was actually nervous that NDK might get cancelled due to all the flooding, but it was actually okay. Sooo...Friday I was Ruby from RWBY, and Lynzy was pajama Yang from RWBY. Oh, and Winston and Kalie made it to the con around 8pm, yay!! >w<
Saturday was even more hectic since I'm pretty sure I changed costumes about 7 times that day. Also, a fire alarm went off, I guess. Jeremiah was showering, and Lyn and I were messing with the iron. Oddly enough, as soon as I spilled some of the iron's water, the alarm went off. And later, we found out the fire alarm got triggered by somebody messing with an iron. xD But, it probably wasn't us since all we did was spill water on the ground. At the same time, Winston was opening the door in the stair well and the alarm went off, so everybody with him was just like "OH s**t, GET OUT OF HERE" cuz they thought they did something wrong.
Lyn, Jere, me, Winston, and Kalie all just kept hanging out in our rooms during this alarm. But we went back downstairs for our photoshoot, and it was completely empty. Turns out, they evacuated everybody! Cept for us. :3 Thx for letting us know, gaiz! Any way, we finally found Torre after that mess and had to have a really rushed photoshoot so that he wouldn't get behind. I'm kind of sad cuz we had a lot of ideas that we couldn't do. Oh well. We got our Dangan Ronpa shoot and Digimon shoot, and I'm pretty happy with most of the results!
Saturday night I had to help Lynzy moved her stuff into her car so she could go home early (waahhh!). Then Jeremiah called me and yelled at me for not remembering to get his wallet. Alcohol makes him more vocal about his anger, I think. xD But really, it was just sitting in his room, it's not like he was going to die if we didn't have it on us right that second. But when Lyn left, we ended up going to IHOP. I got red velvet pancakes, and they were so damn gooooood!
Sunday was obnoxious because at some point, I dropped my wallet somewhere. But, I didn't notice until after I had already been around the entire convention. So, Winston, Jere, Robert, and me were searching all over the damn place for like 3hrs or so, then gave up and went home. No worries though, somebody turned the wallet in and I got back last night! :3 Nothing is missing either! I feel like most people saw it and were like "I'll leave it there in case the owner comes back." and then the other majority probably didn't even notice since they were in costume having fun. I missed class because I didn't have my bus pass or cash yesterday, BUT, I have it all now, so it's all good! :3
